 At Subsea Xplorer, our USV design and build capability is focused on delivering robust, mission-ready unmanned surface vessels engineered for demanding offshore, survey, inspection, and autonomous operations. From concept development through to fabrication, integration, and sea trials, we combine advanced naval architecture with practical operational experience to create reliable, efficient, and highly adaptable platforms.

Design

SubseaXplorer’s approach to the design and build of Uncrewed Surface Vessels (USVs) is grounded in performance, reliability, and real-world operational experience. Each platform is developed with a clear focus on delivering robust, mission-ready systems that can operate in the most demanding offshore and coastal environments. From initial concept through to final deployment, every vessel is engineered to meet the practical challenges of subsea survey, defence, and environmental operations.

Modularity

A key principle in our design philosophy is modularity. SubseaXplorer USVs are built around flexible, scalable architectures that allow for rapid integration of different payloads, sensors, and mission systems. This enables a single platform to be configured for multiple applications, from hydrographic survey and inspection to security and monitoring. By reducing the need for multiple vessel types, we provide a more efficient and cost-effective solution to complex operational requirements.

Hydrodynamic Effiency

Our USVs are also designed with a strong emphasis on hydrodynamic efficiency and vessel stability. Hull forms are optimised to ensure performance in challenging sea states, improving data accuracy and mission endurance.
