The RYA Powerboat Level 2 course is a two-day practical training program that teaches boat handling and seamanship, preparing participants to become competent powerboat drivers and can apply for the International Certificate of Competence (ICC <10m).

Take your powerboating further. Building on Powerboat Level 2, this two-day course develops the skills to plan and complete a short coastal passage by day. You'll cover pilotage and passage planning on coastal waters using both traditional and electronic navigation, alongside cruising at planing speed and more advanced boat handling.

RYA Powerboat Advanced
The highest level of practical powerboat training the RYA offers. Built for experienced helmsmen, this two-day course develops the skills to operate confidently in coastal waters by day and by night, in more demanding conditions. You'll cover boat handling, passage making and responsibility as skipper, pilotage, meteorology, rules of the road, use of engines, emergency situations and night cruising, including one night navigation exercise.
Small Boats Commercial
Our Small Boats Commercial Course is a recognised entry level certification for operating power-driven commercial vessels in a coastal setting, and forms the essential foundation for further on job training for all vessels up to 24m.
