The proposal is structured around the stated requirement for meteorological and oceanographic measurements, supporting assessment of wind and oceanographic conditions in the German North Sea EEZ.

The Subsea Cable Xplorer is a compact 9.9-metre Uncrewed Surface Vessel (USV) designed to monitor, maintain, protect and support the repair of critical subsea cable infrastructure. As shown, the vessel and its supporting equipment can be integrated into a single 20-foot ISO container, enabling rapid transport and deployment without the need for a conventional crewed support vessel.
The USV can operate autonomously or under remote control and is equipped with navigation, communications, day/night cameras and sonar systems for cable-route surveying, seabed mapping and cable detection. It can also support the deployment of ROVs or AUVs for closer inspection and intervention, allowing operators to identify hazards, assess cable condition and assist with maintenance or repair activities.

Meet the SSX airborne bathymetric LiDAR (ALB), also called topo-bathymetric LiDAR.
The principle is fairly elegant: the drone fires green laser pulses, typically 532 nm, because green light penetrates clear water much better than conventional infrared topographic LiDAR. The system detects a return from the water surface and another from the seabed. The difference in travel time, corrected for the different speed/refraction of light in water, gives the water depth.
GNSS and an IMU record the drone's position and orientation so millions of measurements can be assembled into a georeferenced 3D bathymetric point cloud / seabed model

Our compact Uncrewed Surface Vessel (USV) provides a practical platform for hydrographic and bathymetric surveys in shallow and difficult-to-access waters where conventional survey vessels may be restricted.
At just 1.5 m in length and capable of operating at 3–4 knots, the platform combines a small operational footprint with the flexibility required for nearshore and inland-water survey applications.
