1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern all course bookings, payments, cancellations, and participation with Subsea Xplorer Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”). By booking a course via our website or directly with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. Booking and Payment
2.1 All course bookings must be made via the Subsea Xplorer website or approved booking channels.
2.2 A booking is only confirmed once full payment (or agreed deposit where applicable) has been received.
2.3 Prices are quoted in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable unless stated otherwise.
2.4 We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any booking at our discretion, in which case a full refund will be issued.
3. Cooling-Off Period (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013)
3.1 In accordance with UK consumer law, you have a 14-day statutory cooling-off period from the date of booking to cancel your course and receive a full refund.
3.2 However, by booking a course scheduled to begin within this 14-day period, you acknowledge and agree that:

Your right to cancel may be reduced or lost once the course has started.
4. Cancellations by the Customer
4.1 All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to training@subseaxplorer.com.
4.2 Refund eligibility is as follows:
More than 14 days before the course start date:
Full refund issued (minus any non-refundable administrative or transaction fees, if applicable).
14 days or less before the course start date:
No refund will be provided.
4.3 Where a cancellation is made within 14 days of the course start date, we will endeavour (but are not obliged) to offer an alternative course date, subject to availability and operational constraints.
4.4 Any rescheduled booking is non-refundable.
5. Transfers and Substitutions
5.1 You may request to transfer your booking to another available course date, subject to:

5.2 Requests to transfer must be made no later than 14 days prior to the course start date.
5.3 You may nominate a substitute attendee if you are unable to attend, provided:

The substitute meets all course requirements
6. Cancellations by Subsea Xplorer
6.1 We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule courses due to:
Weather conditions
Instructor availability
Insufficient participant numbers
Safety concerns or operational reasons
6.2 In such cases, you will be offered:
A transfer to an alternative date, or
A full refund
6.3 We are not liable for any additional costs incurred (e.g. travel or accommodation).
7. Participant Responsibilities
7.1 Participants must ensure they meet all published course prerequisites, including:
Medical fitness
Required certifications or experience
7.2 We reserve the right to refuse participation or remove any individual who:
Poses a safety risk
Fails to follow instructions
Provides false or misleading information
7.3 No refund will be given in such circumstances.
8. Liability
8.1 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for:
Death or personal injury caused by negligence
Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
Any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law
